Wise or wise-ass? A little of both, Voltaire"s lyrics are dark, razor sharp, a bit wry and often very humorous. Musically best described as "gypsy folk rock" with a good string section, nice arrangements, and clear, pleasant male vocals. Highly recommended.

Voltaire performs live across the country every month.
