Following the successful pre-release singles "Zeitfresser" (3/2025), "The journey" (5/2025), and "Wrong Direction"(12/25), here comes the third solo album from former !distain frontman Alex Braun!
"Angel Maschine" was once again produced by Gerrit Thomas (Funker Vogt, Agonoize…) and features 10 very diverse Synth-Pop songs – 13 on the CD Version.
The new songs offer plenty of catchy melodies, dance potential and a seemingly cinematic, “widescreen” sound. The ballads that were deliberately omitted on the predecessor are also back on board, allowing this absolute strength of the charismatic singer to finally come into its own again.
Braun’s fans can expect the tried-and-tested mix of German and English lyrics, and even a dance track that is rather unusual in this scene ("Waltz of Life")! Furthermore, the tracklist includes a great collaboration with Patrick Knoch a.k.a. Elektrostaub: "The Journey“.
"Angel Maschine" can certainly be described as a classic Synth-Pop album, whose sound, however, lives up to current standards!
In early 2026, Alex Braun (supported by Jan Bertram) were touring with Alienare.
