Anton is a darkwave solo project led by Anton Steinbock since 2021. Influenced by postpunk legends like Joy Division and the modern coldwave of Lebanon Hanover, his music channels a deep, brooding energy into a space where raw melancholy and dark romanticism blend together.
Anton look back on 2 EPs “Volcan” on Detriti Records and “Glacier” on Icy Cold Records, that have been released together in physical editions (vinyl & CD) by Icy Cold.
“Never Freed Myself” & “Plus comme avant” are keeping the flame and manifest the same melancholy mood and are first tasters for the debut full length album to be released fall 2026.
Released May 2026 on Icy Cold.
