With this new album, DAWN+DUSK ENTWINED present a completely reworked version of Crossed Paths (plus bonustracks). The original CDR release from November 2020 was self-produced, but the band was not satisfied with the result. Many of the tracks sounded more like rough drafts, and the song order did not create a coherent overall picture.
Thanks to the new experiences David has gained over the last five years writing new material for DAWN+DUSK ENTWINED and his side project GODWIN POINT, the musical direction has now become clearer. The songs were completely reworked in fall 2024 and spring 2025 and given entirely new arrangements, finally giving the tracks the sound and form they deserved. In addition, several new tracks were added to the album.
The result now offers listeners over 50 minutes of finest French Cold Wave - with dark, cool synth pads, orchestral sound collages, and a strong touch of 80s darkwave retro charm.
