First released in 2020 on vinyl and in digital formats, the album received a limited CD edition in 2022, after signing with Cold Transmission Music.
To mark the album’s five-year anniversary, the band and the label decided for a special re-issue, both in limited editions, on CD and LP in deluxe Gatefold Sleeve!
This new ‘Anniversary’ edition also includes their successful 2021 single "Our Moments are Answers" as a bonus track on both physical formats.
Starting as a solo project back in 2017 from Nikos K. and very soon shaping into a duο with Myrto Stylou on vocals, KALTE NACHT is a project which combines dark-wave urban beats with atmospheric soundscapes, expressed through haunting vocals, analog synths and drum machines.
Inspired by the Athenian underground, innermost feelings, human and collective exchanges, they are treading on the thin line between shadow and light, interacting with the listener through each dynamic live performance.
Their debut 8 track self-titled album was released in March 2020 by Geheimnis Records in digital and vinyl format and was sold out from the first months. It was performed live in Greek & European Music venues and festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen (D), Sinner’s Day Summer Festival (B) and Death Disco Open Air Festival (GR). After releasing the digital single Our Moments Are Answers in March 2021, Kalte Nacht joined German label Cold Transmission Music, and released their debut album in CD format. In March 2024, the digital single and official video
clip Last Breath came out, part of their latest album URGE, released via Cold Transmission Music in June 2024.
URGE was presented in some major European festivals, such as Cold Hearted (D), Ombra (E), and Cold Lake (D) during autumn/winter of 2024 and manifested KALTE NACHT’s position as one of the leading acts in their genre.
