SCHNELL & LANGSAM (Fast and Slow) appeared among the musical projects of PATENBRIGADE: WOLFF members Sven Wolff and Patrick "Marshall" Thomas quite recently (the debut album "СD 1" was released in 2022) but is seems like with this project that the German musicians were able to once again turn to the musical roots of their work, returning to the original point where P:W themselves began.
Here is atmospheric and melodic, occasionally crisply rhythmic and sometimes intelligently thoughtful electronic music, directly "from good old 80s", without annoying experiments or excessive aggression. The musicians managed to find a fine line between synth-instrumental passages with ambient atmosphere and more simpler & minimalistic pop-structures, therefore listening to music of SCHNELL & LANGSAM can be called a very pleasant experience. Real electronic music "for the masses" - however, for the personal listening too.
The second album laconically named "CD2" and among new & original tracks, contains several classic PATENBRIGADE:WOLFF tunes (including the unforgettable "Mauerradio"), which are performed here in instrumental versions by SCHNELL & LANGSAM.
