Kainskult keeps all the basic building blocks of ‘Perfection & Permanence’: the tribal drumming, the atavistic propulsion, the clattering metal percussion, and the abysmal growls. But somehow it reaches a new level of intensity, both sonic and lyrically. The latter read like a hallucinatory celebration of Kain, the Original Heresiarch.
‘Kainskult’ was recorded with the help of an entire cast of famous guests: Peter Bjärgö (Arcana, Sophia), Veil of Light, Kim Larsen (Of the Wand and the Moon), Lina Baby Doll (Deutsch Nepal), Nordvargr, Thomas Bøjden (Die Weisse Rose), Daniel Hofmann (Thorofon), Aaron B. Turner (Lotus Eaters) and many more!
