In 1985 an unknown "American" band hailing from Big Sur in California dropped a package at the doors of the Play It Again headquarters in Brussels. Four 12"s and an LP later they had to reveal they were only half American and hailed from Brussels.
Their fifth single: "Poison!" hit gold. A firm staple in the New Beat dancings. Weathermen weren't a New Beat band, they weren't even an EBM band. Though their label branded 'em as such on the groundbreaking "This Is Electronic Body Music" sampler. Weathermen were tongue in cheek, they were humour on the next level. They were a studio band...or not? In 1988 they went on tour...
