Baṣnia is a melancholic music project inspired by post punk, alternative pop and ethereal wave. In this very diversified debut album, you discover a variety of interesting and original inter-genre music fusions. The lyrics deal with social rejection, loneliness, intolerance, physical and psychological violence.
“It doesn't make sense to wish upon the star, nobody will come and change what we are doing - we are destroying everything around us and each other. This is the meaning of the title and the main idea behind the album.” - explains vocalist and composer Baśnia Lipińska.
The album was recorded, mixed and produced by Waldemar Sorychta - responsible for the sound of albums of such bands as The Gathering, Lacuna Coil, Moonspell or Tiamat.
