Cosmic Overdose are nothing less than total Swedish legends when it comes to electronic music. Formed already back in 1978 by Dan Söderqvist and Karl Gasleben, they are more or less considered the first electronic act in Sweden. The band released two full-length album back in the days and appeared on radio/TV several times. Progress Productions re-released these classic album plus some unreleased material back in 2016 in the box "Koko Total".
This new release was the first and last material, that the band recorded in English, before they put the band to rest for good in 1981 and reformed under Twice A Man.
"Final Koko" was released as a very limited edition on tape in early 1982 and is considered to be one of the most rare items in the Swedish electroscene. Now the album finally is being made available again and has been carefully remastered by Hans Olsson at Svenska Grammofonstudion in Gothenburg. Also as a bonus, the band has added a few remixes, which have been previously available digitally only.
A true Swedish masterpiece and gem. A very important piece of electronic music history is finally available in physical form again!
