In just four years and across three albums, Dark Minimal Project has forged a path of growing artistic depth, both on stage and in their compositions.
If their previous albums ‘Cold Black Room’ (Vuz Records) and ‘Ghost of Modern Times’, showcased technical mastery, the all new album plunges deeper into a world of shadows. Produced and mixed in collaboration with Peter Rainman, the duo explores uncharted terrain, crafting a soundscape where every track forms part of a larger, haunting fresco. Voices shift between desperate whispers and raw outbursts of rage, carried by tormented, immersive sound design.
A modern reinterpretation of John Foxx’s classic ‘This City’ (from the mini-album ‘Burning Car’, 1981) evokes the concrete solitude of the city—its quiet emptiness amidst the crowd. Here, pleasure and sin entwine in a hypnotic dance, where every fleeting moment feels like a dazzling descent into darkness.
With “Pleasure is a Sin” Dark Minimal Project reaches full maturity—delivering their most uncompromising, atmospheric, and intensely evocative work to date.
Released September 2025 on Infacted Recordings.
