First released in June 2016 on CDr, by Polish BAT-CAVE Productions and on tape (2018), but never on Vinyl before!
“Demonio” is a richly atmospheric and compelling album. Right from its opening track (“Última Dimensión”) it plunges the listener into a dark, resonant sonic world — bass pulses and synth washes combine with guitar and vocals to evoke both tension and melancholy. The lyrics (in Spanish) reflect themes of isolation, torment and inner struggle: for example, in “Abulia” we hear “Aquí estoy esperando / Heridas y tortura / Contemplando el vacío… Una vida de locura entre rejas y cadenas”.
Musically the album blends elements of cold-wave, post-punk and darkwave. What stands out is how the band balances minimalism (sparse, echoing textures) with moments of expressive intensity: tracks like “Sinsentido” carry a restless energy (“Sombras solas / Despertar nunca fue la opción…”)
Production is clean yet retains a raw edge: the guitars and synths feel expansive and haunted, and the vocals sit in the mix so as to emphasise their emotional weight. The closing piece “Maledicto Divinorvm” brings things to a dramatic close, with visceral language (“Angustia… Mundo enrojecido…”) that underlines the album’s overall mood.
All in all, “Demonio” is a strong offering — especially for fans of moody, introspective dark-wave or post-punk with a Spanish-speaking twist. It expresses both atmosphere and authenticity.
Released Mid November 2025 on Yound & Cold.
