The preceding 7" singles on CMI and Formosan set the tone for "Dobruja Region" as well. The cold and murky depths of caves, mines and other geophysical orifices spells out the theme of the album, like Lustmord on his classic "Heresy" CD. Dark, ominous sounds echo between walls and stalactites, while machinery running amok pound out the rhythmic foundation. At the same time there are more reflective moods present too, that pays homage to the majestic nature of northern Sweden where Peter Nystrom currently resides. Released late August, 2004.
