Hailing from Mexico City and having toured the world over, Ritualz is a one-man electronic artist who falls somewhere in the realm of old-school industrial, modern darkwave, and witch house. Ritualz delivered – among others – one remix on PANKOW’s latest album… The brainchild of JC Lobo, who also runs the brilliant Maligna tape label, takes its sound to a different dimension on ‘Doom’. Lobo has managed to channel the ghost of defunct cult American label Pendragon Records, somehow creating a cross between Fektion Fekler, Kalte Farben, and even the long-forgotten Wave Workers Foundation, for a dose of late-90s dark electronic music that is surprising in its freshness and surreal as a throwback.
