Limited Edition of strictly 300 copies. “A Short Story” was intended to serve as a ‘bridge’ to a new sound for The Coventry: less wave/postpunk- oriented but more towards electro/industrial. According to band mastermind Rivieccio's will, to shape a parallel KURS direction to this, his main band.
The title track floats in a sea of pads, sequencers and arpeggiators, manipulated guitar samples and distorted voices, while the second unreleased track "Urban Failure" pushes stronger ‘KURS’ interference. Two exclusive remixes by The Coventry himself and Broken Nails are included!
