3 years after their first album on Synthethic Symphony, C-Drone Defect return with their eagerly awaited follow-up to "Neural Dysorder Syndrome"!Marc Horstmeier, mastermind behind CDD, took his first steps in electronic music around 1998. In 2000 the name C-DRONE-DEFECT was settled. As an explanation: C is the abbreviation for counter. So the name means: Counter-Drone-Defect. It stands for the hope, that there is a defect in society (maybe some kind of potential), that enables man not to swim with the swarm but to stand against the parasitical doctrine of thought-assimilation. A vague hope, but also the hope, that the individual has not died yet. In 2000 CDD signed a contract with Synthetic Symphony/SPV and their debut-album came out the year after. The feedback to this release was very positive and comparisons were made with early :WUMPSCUT: albums. In 2003 CDD signed to the Black Rain-Sublabel "NoiTekk" for the second album "NEMESIS". Daniel Myer (Haujobb) was invited for the mixing and the mastering. Musically and thematically NEMESIS consequently deals with what is implicated in the name C-Drone-Defect: The examination of members of modern society; "want to" vs. "have to"; ambivalent behavior of philistine bigots vs. analytic ego-concentration. A scream towards mankind: "Start to think!".Released early June, 2004.
