After 2 well-received EPs “Beyond” & “Scales”, the Belgian Darkwave/Gothic Rock act unleashes its 10-tracks conceptual album, that deals with the social divergence in today’s global village. Where a derailed capitalism is leading to the total collapse of mankind and the earth’s natural resources, the band con-tributes with each of the songs to the worldwide discussion about today’s society, putting the spotlight on different aspects of it, both on a global as well as on an individual level. The album further explores and builds up on the typical “wall-of-sound”, which Ground Nero has become known for, but even more diverging into different sound horizons, combining multi-layer soundscapes/synths, heavy beats and guitars, creating an atmosphere you would expect when thinking about the end of days…
