Born in 1993 in Metz and strongly inspired by the post-punk goth of the 80s such as Virgin Prunes, Sex Gang Children, Neva (…), their debut album (1996) was produced by MLADA FRONTA’s Remy Pelleschi. Since then, Drama of the Spheres released 4 studio albums and a ‘Best of’ Double CD and has become a fix point in the French dark scene – their crazy (sonic) universe blends the modernity of electro and industrial with the Batcave style.
5 years have passed since their previous album ‘Puzzled View’ on Manic Depression. “Hidden States”: Ambivalence / Obscure Light / Opposition of Lights and Shadows / “We were not going to go either side of the setting sun or the rising moon, something vague, elusive, undecided, controlled”. This is how we could define “Hidden States”.
