The Saint Paul, consisting of core members Paul Kuhs, Marc Schleser and their live drummer Hendrik Strehl, have established themselves as a staple in the Synthpop genre since their formation in 2011. With an impressive discography (on Labels Infacted and Danse Macabre) that includes four albums and two EPs to date, the band from the Ruhr area has solidified their place in the music scene. The musical connection between Marc and Paul, which had crossed paths even before 2011, proved to be fertile ground for the development of a fascinating sound. Their collaboration combines different musical focuses into a new, recognizable musical unit. The Saint Paul create a sound characterized by elements of Dark-Electro and EBM, while also touching the core of Synth- and Futurepop, creating a unique ambivalence. The Saint Paul make a striking return with their new album "Interference," taking listeners on a journey into the heart of Synthpop, Electropop, Futurepop, and EBM. With their latest work the trio once again emphasizes their ability to push musical boundaries without losing their distinctive TSP sound - distinguished by a unique musical identity that sets them apart from other Electro-Synthpop bands.
With "Interference," The Saint Paul set new standards and raise their musical quality to a higher level yet again. The album features a breathtaking collection of energetic Synthpop songs, enriched with elements of EBM and inspired by the genre’s dark soundscapes.
