Instead of merely relying on straightforward techno beats, this release twists and contorts rhythm into something unpredictable, merging heavily processed vocals with layers of darkness and obscurity—while still maintaining a strong physical impact.
Two well-known names in the techno underground, US-raised artists Statiqbloom and Blush Response not only share common influences in EBM and industrial music, but they have also both contributed to the resurgence of these genres with a distinctly contemporary, experimental approach. Both projects utilize analog synths and hardware setups and create beat driven travels through dark electro territories and harsh walls of sound.
