When MS GENTUR resurfaced in 2024 alongside SVEN PHALANX, the collaboration felt like a deliberate reactivation rather than a nostalgic gesture.
“Accidents And Chaos” confirms that this was no one-off return. Two years on, the project continues - not smoothing its edges, but sharpening the contrasts that define it. This album is gold for the dancefloor – for rhythm’n’noise and industrial techno audiences alike – already tested successfully in a number of energetic live performances by the Frankfurt-based duo.
Instead of dissolving into a unified aesthetic, the album thrives on the coexistence of two clearly recognizable approaches. MS Gentur carries forward an old-school noise sensibility: coarse textures, pressure-driven structures and an unfiltered physicality rooted in classic rhythm’n’noise. Sven Phalanx contributes a driving techno orientation – propulsion, repetition and functional momentum. The friction between both perspectives shapes the record’s dynamic: distortion disrupts the flow, rhythm rebuilds it. The material favors directness. Beats land with purpose, distortion remains upfront, and arrangements aim for impact without detours. There is little attempt to conceal the mechanics; the album presents its energy openly, allowing both identities to remain intact rather than dissolving into compromise.
